About us
The Falabella Studbook was opened in 2002 for the registration of pure-bred Falabellas.
We are the only register in the UK to be directly linked to Argentina, ‘the home of the Falabella’. We are the daughter Studbook to the Argentinean registry, the ACCF and sister Studbook to the Dutch Stamboek, who started registering Falabellas in 1995.
We ensure that only pure Falabellas are registered through the use of pedigrees and DNA testing.

All testing is done in the Netherlands, where the Dutch Stanboek has been DNA testing for 10 years, so building up a comprehensive database, allowing us to check DNA profiles for those horses who cannot be parent qualified.
All directly imported Falabella progeny can also be registered in Argentina.
A part-bred register has also been set up for people wishing to register their part-bred Falabellas and horses that do no make it onto the pure-bred register.
